Film Photography

There is a certain magic to film photography which is something todays modern cameras lack. Every time you take a shot it has to be intentional, you won’t know how that shot has turned out until it has been developed. I believe in many ways that film helps photographers connect to their photos on a deeper level due to how much thought has to go into actually capturing that moment. From my perspective it's all about taking a step back from the world for a second, slowing down, and letting the creative thoughts flow: think about the composition, think about the colours. Film is unique due to the authentic feel that comes from taking a photo.

In an age of digital concentration, film photography offers a refreshing return to craftsmanship, patience, and the joy of creating something meaningful with you and your camera.
